9 Easy Steps Towards Better Health Without a Change in Diet or Exercise

Steps in SandChances are there are many habits you can change to live a healthier lifestyle and ultimately feel better in general. We have identified nine key habits you can change today that will have an incredible impact on your health.

Please note these changes do not include exercise because, bottom line, it is impossible to out-train bad eating habits. If you’re like most people and find it overwhelming to commit to a change in eating and activity habits, change the eating habits first. You will get more energy, you will feel a lot better about yourself, and will more easily get motivated to exercise than if you tried to exercised first.

Over the next few weeks we will release detailed information about the following 9 easy steps you can take towards better health (spoiler alert):

  1. Drink more water
  2. Find a quiet, relaxing place to eat
  3. Chew more
  4. Discard caloric content
  5. Know what your body needs
  6. Plan your meals ahead of time
  7. Relax after a meal
  8. Correct way to navigate through a plate (must read if you like burger & fries)
  9. Eat before 8:00pm

Be sure to come back and read the information that will be provided for each one of the above steps you can take towards better health. You may have thought about doing some (or all of the above) but haven’t succeeded at it. You may have read the suggestions somewhere else and disregarded them for no other reason than it didn’t appeal to you.

Use the supermarket approach. Take what you like and leave what you don’t. But the more of these changes you commit to, the better. You might also want to makes these changes one at a time and only move forward when you have mastered a change. Ultimately, your goal should be to master these habits of HOW to eat, then master good habits of WHAT to eat, as well as master the good habits that will eliminate what you eat.
